I am an artist creating handbags from books, game boards, record album jackets, playbills, magazines and other "recycled" items. Beginning with the original item such as the book, game board, record album jacket, playbill, it is shaped into the design which suits it the best. Then fabrics are chosen and sewn to form the outsides of the handbag and more fabrics are chosen for the inside linings. All of the segments are then assembled, including handles, straps and handbag closures creating a unique and a one-of-a-kind work of art! Each handbag is well-constructed and affordable, and custom handbags are also welcomed!
